With over 2,000 members, SOCITM is the professional membership association for all ICT professionals working in Local Authorities and the Public and Third Sectors and suppliers to those sectors.

Recently, SOCITM undertook research into the best practice in shared services to produce their latest report – “Successful sharing: a practical guide for local public services”.  The paper details how sharing services is one of the few options available for making significant savings and will need to be deployed if there is any chance of maintaining front-line services.
