The Company passes QMS audit with flying colours.

Forth Valley GIS gained certification for the international standard for Quality Management (ISO9001: 2008) in 2010 following an audit of the Company’s business processes.

The Quality Management System (QMS) has now been operational for a year and we passed our first annual surveillance audit with no non-conformances. Achieving and maintaining our ISO 9001:2008 certification is a clear demonstration of the Company’s commitment to continuous improvement, which extends across all areas of business activity.  Effective application of the system guarantees customer requirements are met.  It also ensures high quality services and products are developed and delivered consistently to customers.

Responsible for the implementation and ongoing management of the QMS, Linda Workman, Business Support Manager at Forth Valley GIS commented, “The Company is delighted to have performed so well in the first QMS surveillance audit.  QMS provides the management information needed to continually improve business processes.  The team deserves credit for their significant effort in adopting QMS resulting in our achievements to date”.
