While Santa gets his address book updated and plans how to optimise his routes across the globe, the festive period is a time when the importance of location-based information services cannot be underestimated. So whether you’re planning where to meet up with friends and family, how to get there or what points of interest there are, GIS is never far from your eyes. Geography, and the challenges it can at times present, is something we’re very familiar with here at Forth Valley GIS and we’ve spent another busy year delivering highly effective business solutions to a wide range of public and commercial customers. We’re looking forward with great excitement to 2012 – with growing demand for our online GIS service, Location Centre, a new website and a fresh look for the company coming soon and many new business opportunities in new sectors, there really hasn’t been a better time to face those geographic challenges head on.
Alan Moore Forth Valley GIS will close for Christmas on Friday the 23rd of December and reopen on Wednesday 28th December. The company will then close on Friday the 30th of December and reopen on Wednesday the 4th of January 2012. Any Helpdesk calls or emails received during shut down periods will be dealt with as soon as possible. |
