Open spaces make an important contribution to the social and environmental wellbeing of the community. And Forth Valley GIS recently helped Stirling Council review and update the information they hold on the area’s open spaces.
The OASIS (Online Antisocial Information Sharing) system designed by Forth Valley GIS for Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling Community Planning Partnerships is proving more and more effective.
The Forth Valley GIS support team have got into Geocaching - a kind of treasure hunt for the modern age and a great way for GI enthusiasts to expend a bit of spare energy!
Congratulations to eight members of the Forth Valley GIS recently became accredited Prince to Practitioners. Solutions Manager, Tom Moore, also became an accredited Programme Manager, who commented "this shows our commitment to managing projects to a high standard".
